Dont answer if you are bald. How often do you get a haircut? Do you wait until your next Haircut to trim your sides or neck?
In warmer weather sometimes will get a haircut every 10 days and in cooler weather I will get a hair cut and the ten days later get a trim around b=my beard and the back of my neck and 5 days later get a haircut and 10 days later a trim for the back of my neck and etc...
It works for me and might be good for you also..How often do you get a haircut? Do you wait until your next Haircut to trim your sides or neck?
I'm not a guy but my husband gets his cut once every 3-4 weeks. he doesn't do any trimming in between hair cuts. Hes military so he has to keep it pretty short.
Every 5 weeks. My barber does the sides and neck when I go. I usually make the appointment for next time when I go.

Where is the best salon to get a haircut?
I live in Orland Park ( Illinois) and i want a hair cut that is easy to style straight. I am also only 13 and have to pay for it by myself.Where is the best salon to get a haircut?
I am against paying a lot of money to get my hair done and actually usually cut it myself, but I recently went to an Aveda salon (they have different names per different city but they're owned by the same people and have the same methods). It cost me $40 (the price goes up from $40 as the stylist has most experience with the company). The great thing about the salon, though, was included in the price, you get a neck/shoulders/scalp massage, shampoo/condition, cut, and style. A lot of places charge extra from shamppo/condition and style, plus you don't get the massage elsewhere.
The price is fairly reasonable if you have the money. It's definitely an experience even if you're only 13. Regardless, I would suggest that you NOT go anywhere that looks really cheap, because they may not do a good job. If there are any beauty schools around, you may want to look into going there. They are cheap (usually less than $10) and the people are learning, but they do have experienced teachers working directly with them when you go to have your hair cut.

Where is a good place to get male haircut in Melbourne?
I've always had emoish style and I wouldn't mind something similar but still different. I've only been in Melbourne for about months and I went home (5 hours away) just to get my hair cut from my old haidresser, bout 3 months ago. I don't want to do that again.
Nothing to fancy just a cut so nothing to expensive.
I live in Brunswick so anything round there would be awesome but anywhere would be fine.Where is a good place to get male haircut in Melbourne?
??? em a hair salon

What age did your son get his first haircut?
My son has adorable curls but they are getting out of control! My husband wants to cut his hair but I like the long-ish curls. Our son has just turned one. Not to base my decision off of, but out of curiousity spawned by our ';family debate';, I was wondering at what age did your child get his/her first haircut? What age did your son get his first haircut?
my son was 2. and i regret doing it now.
he had a whole head of golden curls..and he was starting to look like goldie locks.
my neigbhour kept saying he should look like a boy, he should get his haircut
so one day i gave in and cut it
then i realized..why did i do that? it will never grow back, i coulda waited just a while longer.
it should have been mine and hubby's decision. i coulda waited until he went to daycare/school for that matter. the kid was happy. he was adorable.
now he looks like baby bear..really dark, straight hair.
but he's still cute.
so my suggestion: don't give into what other's opinions are, discuss it with the hubby and decide together. and make it fun for the little one.
most important. save a lockof hair :)What age did your son get his first haircut?
i trimmed my sons hair a few months back he is 14months old
5 months.
I just had to trim my sons hair and he is almost 13 months.
my little brother also got a haircut at 1
the hair was getting out of control...

Where is a good salon to get a haircut in Asheville NC?
I am looking for somewhere downtown that is professional, modern, and affordable where the stylists really listen and are careful.
What has been the best experience you have had at an Asheville salon?
I have wavy/curly hair. Anyone else have this texture and find somewhere particularly good?Where is a good salon to get a haircut in Asheville NC?
I live in asheville and I usually go to Chiavaras or Ananda's hair studio, ananda's is broadway street downtown, its glass windows, you've probably seen it...chiavars is on north liberty, i forgot if it was near charlotte street or near the botanical gardens or neither... whatever... they're both pretty good. Hope this helped at all.
be well

What is wrong with giving a baby a haircut before turning 1?
My mother said it causes a speech poblem later, but I have never heard of this. My nephew will be 1 in 3 weeks and I said it doesn't make much of a difference whether he's 11 months and 7 days or 12 months. I know it can be hard to do because they squirm, but does the actual process of cutting the hair (with or without clippers) cause speech issues? What is wrong with giving a baby a haircut before turning 1?
I believe that would be an old wives tale. It does not matter how old your child is for their first hair cut. I would suggest no clippers because the child may be frightened. What is wrong with giving a baby a haircut before turning 1?
Oh gosh, your welcome. I am a mother, and don't always know everything either! HAHA. My son was 10 months old when we cut his hair, everyone called him a girl! Beautiful blond hair with lots of waves. He was a pretty baby! (he is now 18, no brain damage)
Enjoy your little one!
There's nothing wrong with it. My son's 8 months and already had 4 haircuts and he can say dada and momma.
Nothing wrong with it at all, i think that it is cultural tradition when the baby gets its first haircut, my friends are muslim and it is tradition for them to shave the newborns head she says it means they'll get strong healthy hair.
Your mother must be on crack or something.
If the baby's hair is long enough to need a haircut, then give it a haircut.
i think thats another wifes tale....i have a cousin who married a african guy and he didnt want my cousin to cut their babies hair because he says she is cutting his ';smartness';...and she has to wait till he is 1.
And i have another cuzin...where they always cut their babies hair at like 4 months...because it gets rid of the baby hair...and they will have healthy hair when they get older...nice, and shiny.
so i guess everyones different.
Because they still have that soft spot on top of their head where the skull hasn't completely formed over the brain yet.
That's a ridiculous and far-fetched wive's tale.
The speech thing is ridiculous. If your baby needs a haircut, then get him a haircut.
Must be an old wives tale. I cut my son's at 11 months and he's now 19 months and talking like crazy.
NO.....speech problems don't come from a haircut. Cut my sons hair at 6 weeks because there was so much...he talks normally...well...maybe a bit too much, but normally.
that sounds like a old wives tale...there is not any research to make that statement hold up!!!
think about it logically!!
Unless you can trim it while he is sleeping or have a safe place to put him where he can't more at all, I wouldn't bother. I started trimming my daughter's hair at 1 and 1/2 and she was such a squirmer.
You have your whole life to give them haircuts, once you give them the first one, the baby hair, and sometimes beautiful curls, go away....
there's no problem, and it definitely doesn't cause speech problems. it's probably just a family tradition.
That's crazy...I mean come on, what correlation is there between cutting hair and speech?!? Cut your baby's hair.
I had to cut my baby's hair 4 times before he tuned one because it grew like wild fire. I't's best to do it while they are asleep in there carrier when they don't squirm.
omg speech problems? thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard! if you can recall from elemenatry school, hair is DEAD SKIN CELLS! not connected to the brain or voicebox whatsoever.
the only way it will give him a speech problem is if you are cutting his hair, he squirms, and you puncture his next badly. but that can happen at any age.
It don't make a difference.Cut his hair if it is long.It is going to be getting really hot soon and well like it better cut.I never heard of a speech issues when you cut the hair before 1.
no it if ok to cut his hair
I shaved both my boys hair before 1 and there both fine
HA HA HA! Moms! for some things yes, you will want to wait the extra days just to be sure, but for hair cutting, its more of a tradition to wait then anything else. hair is just ';dead'; cells- and considering many babies dont even get hair in their first year, yeah, its ok. :)
Hair cutting too soon = speech problem? Um, nope.
My son had his first hair cut before a year old... and he speaks perfectly. In fact, I'm raising my children bilingually. :)
I have never heard of a speech problem occurring from a hair cut. The only reason that most people wait to give a baby a haircut until they turn 1 is because it makes them look older all of a sudden. Take the little fellow to a shop where they are set up for small children. My daughter found a shop for her little ones that had a chair shaped like a car. They loved going to get a hair cut.
